Hero "Kuntiz": "Just doin' my job. It's what I get overpaid for."
At the Gürbulak border gate on Turkey's frontier with Iran, 462 liters of
"liquid heroin" have been seized by Turkish customs agents, thanks to
detection by sniffer dogs "Bady" and "Kuntiz".
A TIR (tractor-trailer) driven by Aziz P. was passing through the
Gürbulak customs gate en route from Iran to Switzerland when
officials decided to X-ray the truck, based on a risk-analysis hunch.
A refrigerator between a food container and a tool box under the trailer
raised suspicions.
The TIR was pulled into a hanger for closer inspection and officials
noticed that there was no connection between the refrigerator and the
fuel tank needed to power it, nor was the refrigerator's motor even
working.
At this point drug sniffer dogs "Bady" and "Kuntiz" were let loose
and detected the "liquid heroin" in the refrigerator's fuel tank.
The 463 liters of liquid in the tank were tested and determined to be
heroin.
