Tesla founder Elon Musk, protesting against the current coronavirus
restrictions in the USA, posted a tweet yesterday that read "This is
fascism, give people back their freedom."
However (!), many of Musk's Twitter followers, foremost among them
Ryan Wyatt, the games director for YouTube, reminded Musk of
another tweet he posted in 2017, in which he quoted Mustafa Kemal
Atatürk: "If one day, my words are against science, choose science."
//Ed. note: herewith another Atatürk gem that addresses
attributing disasters to 'kısmet': "Proverbs about accidents
and fate, and luck and coincidence, are written in Arabic.
They don't mean anything to Turks."//
