to Istanbul to Pick Up Your Potential Winnings!"
On 23 July, Istanbul police raided a print shop and recovered $271
million in counterfeit U.S. currency. One of those arrested was
former police official B.Ç., who had been fired because of links to
the FETÖ (Fethullah Gülen Terror Organization). The gang's leader,
Ali A. was captured in Edirne while trying to flee Turkey.
But Ali A.'s older brother Ömer A. continued on with the fake dollar
operation and on 7 January Istanbul police raided print shops in Sarıyer
and Kağıthane, seizing another $127 million in fake U.S. currency. (!)

The counterfeit dollars' difference from real money is nearly
imperceptible and the gang's plan was to send the fake dollars to
FETÖ elements in Africa and South America. Ömer A. was among
the 4 people arrested on 7 January.
FETÖ chieften Gülen took the news in stride at his Saylorsburg
Pansilvanya lair.
