"Beat & Release": Lout-in-a-Wheelchair Sprays Gunfire at Ex-Wife & Family at Antalya Courthouse

                         "Who says I'm handicapped??!!"

In Antalya, Güllü Akman (25), a medical secretary in a private hospital,

met Onur Duygulu (25) on the internet and a month and a half later they

got married, on 17 October 2020.   However (!), Onur bey drank heavily

and beat Güllü hanım.  On 15 June 2021, when Güllü hanım was 

7-months pregnant, Onur bey threw her out of their house.  The couple

was divorced on 17 November 2021. 

On 30 January this year, Onur bey shot Güllü hanım with a "pomplı

tüfenk" (pump-action rifle), wounding her in her right arm and shoulder.

When her father heard the noise, he came out of the house and shot 

Onur bey in the leg.  Onur bey was taken into custody but released (!).

Yesterday, Onur bey came before a judge at the Antalya Courthouse 

in a wheelchair but, after the hearing, he pulled a gun hidden in his 

wheelchair and shot at Süleyman bey, Güllü hanım and her brother 

Bilal and sister Kübra.  Bilal bey was injured in his leg from the gunfire.  

Police at the courthouse took Onur bey and his friend Ramazan A., who 

was said to have provided Onur bey with the gun, into custody.
