                             Unfriendly competition.

Ahmet Çiçek opened his first "Midyeci Ahmet" mussel restaurant in
Beşiktaş, Istanbul, and then when fame took hold his restaurants spread
all over Turkey.  One of the key elements of the chain's success was
Çiçek's wife Deniz Çelebi, who prepared the mussels.

However (!), the couple recently divorced and Çiçek left the Beşiktaş
restaurant to his wife and two children as alimony.  But then Çiçek
opened another one of his own "Midyeci Ahmet" restaurants directly
across the street in revenge.

Deniz hanım lamented that "I sold my necklace to start this brand.
When we divorced he gave me the main Beşiktaş restaurant.  But now
I and my children are victims.  He has 25 other restaurants but he's
trying to take Beşiktaş back from me because he doesn't want a
woman like me to be able to stand on my own two feet.  He didn't
wait even 9 days to open a restaurant right across from me!"

Are the mussels free? No accounting for taste...
