"I'll let her die before any male nurse can save her!"
In Şanlıurfa, a woman who fell ill at home the night before last was
brought to the emergency room at Balıklıgöl State Hospital. The nurse
on duty, Mehmet Şah Bilge, gave the woman a shot for her illness.
However (!), at this time her husband Kadir Fatih S., having completed
the paperwork for his wife, came and shouted "why is a man giving my
wife a shot when there are female nurses here??!!". He then punched
Bilge and broke his nose. Kadir Fatih S. was taken into custody by police.
New male nurses' uniforms being considered to forestall
such incidents...
