Wedding crasher - literally.
In Istanbul's Kağıthane district yesterday at around 1 o'clock in the
afternoon, a cement mixer driven by Hüseyin Toyga, trailing cement
drops and moving at high speed, failed to negotiate a curve in the
road, crashing on top of a parked bride's car and hitting another car
in the bridal convoy, as well.
8-year-old Emin Berk Nalcı was crushed under the cement mixer and
died at the scene. Medics tried to calm the child's distraught mother.
Driver Toyga was injured in the crash and brought to a hospital for
treatment, after which he was taken into custody by police. The crash
was captured on security cameras.
