What would Turkmenbaşı say?...
In one week in Istanbul, 20 citizens of Turkmenistan have died from
drinking grain alcohol they thought would protect them from the
coronavirus. (!) Another 34 Turkmens have been hospitalized in
Esenyurt, Başakşehir, Fatih, Zeytinburnu and Güngören districts of
the city.
Police raided hotels, restaurants and barber shops (!) where the grain
alcohol was sold and 11 suspects have been taken into custody. The
Turkmens in hospitals have told police that they drank the grain
alcohol to ward off coronavirus, after having first rubbed it on their
bodies for protection (!).
Gone and forgotten.
