Don't Stop Retrievin'!!
In Bartın, Önder S. became ill on Sunday and was taken to Bartin
Womens Maternity and Childrens Hospital. His golden retriever
dog followed the ambulance all the way to the hospital and while
Önder S. has been in intensive care for the past 5 days, his dog has
faithfully remained in front of the hospital, keeping a vigil for him.
Special treatment in the VID waiting room.
Hospital personnel and Mehmet Çetin (45), who runs a snack stand
at the hospital, have been looking after the dog all week. Çetin
explained that "the dog won't leave the hospital garden. We and the
hospital staff are taking care of the dog, as he waits for his owner
day in and day out. This is a lesson in loyalty for all of humanity."
