Bollywood Comes to Niğde for Indian "Forrest Gump"

                       The resemblance is uncanny...

Aamir Khan, one of Bollywood's most famous names, has come to 

Niğde to complete a portion of his film "Laal Singh Chaddha", which

is an adaptation of "Forrest Gump" (!). 

The actor inspected the areas in the province where filming will be 

done but was then amazed to see the crowd of fans waiting to see 

him as he arrived back at his hotel.  Khan graciously agreed to have 

pictures and selfies taken with well-wishers.

Niğde Governor Yılmaz Şimşek met with Khan and said that "we 

will provide the necessary support in any way we can.  Niğde,

Aladağlar and Demirkazık will become 'brands' for film-making.

The filming will begin in October."
