                             Rap with a Turkish accent.

The famous American rapper Cardi B explained during a radio interview
that when she was working as a cashier at a grocery store, her Turkish
boss suggested that she ought to start working at the strip club next door
and that's how she got her start on her way to fame.

Because she kept coming to work late, her boss Seyhan Eren said he
would have to fire her.  But he told Cardi B "I know you're having a hard
time.  You're a beautiful girl with a beautiful body.  Why don't you try
stripping?  C'mon let's go check it out."

After becoming famous, Cardi B went back to the Tribeca neighborhood
in Manhattan to find her old Turkish boss at the Turkish "Amish Market"
(!) with some reporters.  Cardi B couldn't find him but Hürriyet did.
Seyhan Eren now lives in New Jersey and works as a manager for a big
supermarket chain.

Eren told Hürriyet that he recalled Cardi B as "Bella" but he hadn't
realized that she was trying to get in touch with him.  He said that now
"Cardi B lives in Atlanta and after the pandemic she wants to come to
New York to visit me."

Eren related that Cardi B had worked at the grocery store for six
months in 2010, observing that "she was concerned about her small
breasts so she was saving money to have them enlarged.  But she
kept coming in late in the mornings.  That's when I suggested to her
that she work in the strip club.  She started there as a waitress and with
her first paycheck she bought me dinner."

Cardi B says that she is a big fan of Turkish "dizi" (soap operas) like
"Muhteşem Yüzyıl" and "Kösem".  In fact, after the last episode of
"Muhteşlem Yüzyıl" she tweeted "Hey Turkish directors! Please do
another show about a Sultan.  I really need it!"
