Driver Ömer has a soft spot for women in wedding dresses.

Namık and Hacer Kar were going to be late for their own 

wedding (!) and fretted as they waited for the city bus to 

come along in Akhisar neighborhood of Bursa's İnegöl district.

When the bus finally came, even though the couple

was not at an official bus stop, driver Ömer Ulubey pulled over 

anyway, learned of their plight and rushed them to the wedding

bureau.

In gratitude, the couple asked Ömer bey to serve as  a

witness to their marriage and he happily complied.

                                    No doubt about it!

In Muğla's Köyceğiz district, firefighter Ahnmet Ünlü and his

expectant wife Melike Ünlü wanted to let family and friends

know whether their child would be a boy or a girl.  So fire 

department vehicles were festooned with boy-girl decorations 

in anticipation of the announcement.

When a  blue stream of water emerged from the fire hose, the

matter was settled.   However (!), some citizens reacted 

negatively to the use of firefighting vehicles for the private

event.
