                          Wanted: Dead...

In Adana's Seyhan district, Ahmet Bedircan, who was
in a minimum security prison for crimes of "premeditated
murder, theft and narcotics trafficking" (!), escaped.  In
order not to go back to prison, Bedircan shared a photo
of himself with his head, arm and chest bandaged, as if
he were dead.


                             ... or Alive.

Bedircan's friends promulgated the photo with captions
such as 'Rest in Peace' and 'May God give his family
patience' in order to dissuade anyone from looking for
the fugitive.  However, Bedircan's father, Cesim Bedircan,
who lives across the country in Balıkesir, saw the post
and, thinking that his son really had died, came to Adana.

When Cesim bey realized the truth he informed the
police, who captured Ahmet Bedircan in the Gülbahçesi
neighborhood, carrying a fake ID.
