Beytullah looks like the bad guy in every film
or TV show you've ever seen.

The couple Beytullah Güraslan (42) and Fatma Güraslan
(36) lived in an entry floor apartment in the Muratçeşme
neighborhood in Büyükçekmece district of Istanbul.  Two
weeks ago they were married in Yozgat.  Fatma hanım's
two daughters from her first marriage, which ended due
to violence against her by her first husband, were living
with the couple.

The day before yesterday an argument between Beytullah
and Fatma turned violent.  In a fit of jealousy, Beytullah
stabbed Fatma multiple times and cut her throat, killing
her.  Afterwards, a remorseful Beytullah called a friend of
Fatma's and said "I've killed Fatma. Give me your
blessing. I'm turning myself in to the police."

Prior to killing Fatma, on 19 October, Beytullah had put
the following post on his social media page: "anger
without control; like fire eats wood, it consumes a
person; our God gave us anger for defense and protection
against enemies; those who cannot control anger are
condemned to be blown about like a leaf in the wind."
