COVID let's 'Paşa' rest in peace anymore.

In Bursa city's Osmangazi district, Şehmus Sarıkaya has tended his
shop on busy Cumhuriyet Avenue, where there is an historic 'han'
(caravansaray) and markets, for six years.  Sarıkaya adopted a stray
cat and for the past six months he has been taking care of 'Paşa', who
has become a local mascot.

Sarıkaya set up a special place in front of his shop for 'Paşa' to sleep
but during the day passers-by were continually petting the cat,
disturbing its slumber.  So Sarıkaya came up with an interesting
solution - he put up a sign that reads "COVID-19 Positive! Don't pet!"
(!)

Consequently, passers-by are henceforth careful to avoid petting 'Paşa',
allowing the feline to sleep undisturbed all day long.  Sarıkaya noted
that "Everybody was stopping to pet the cat and when we said don't
they couldn't understand.  There were even some arguments that
resulted.  Should any creature's sleep be disturbed!? So we came up
with this solution.  Thanks to the COVID  warning, no one bothers
'Paşa' anymore."
