Got to admire the work ethic...
In Şişli, Istanbul, two suspects who entered a market
intending to rob it, found the take too paltry so they
locked the counterman in the depo and sold goods
themselves.
The robbers at first threatened counterman M.B.
with a knife and told him to hand over the money in
the cash register. M.B. resisted so the thieves cut him
lightly on his arm and threw him into the depo.
Realizing that the amount of money in the register was
meager, the two suspects got behind the counter
themselves and began selling items to incoming customers.
Soon afterwards they took the accumulated loot and fled.
M.B. was able to free himself from the depo and called
police, who came and viewed the store's surveillance
video. The police recognized one of the robbers as I.M.,
who had worked at another store on the same street last
year. I.M. and his accomplice were processed at the
police station and arrested.
