"Unconditional sharing is what marriage is all about."
In Samsun's Bafra district, Dr. Mustafa O.İ. filed a police complaint
about his wife Dr. Fulya İ. last week because, after testing positive
for COVID, Fulya hanım spit in Mustafa bey's face during an
argument. (!)
Mustafa bey claimed that Fulya hanım also bit him and then tried to
forcibly rub her spit into his face. Although Mustafa bey subsequently
tested negative for COVID he has gone to another address until Fulya
hanım's quarantine period is over.
Fulya hanım works at the Şanlıurfa Balıklıgöl State Hospital but
returned to Bafra, where her husband works at Alaçam State Hospital.
When she began to show COVID symptoms, Fulya hanım was tested
and the result was positive, requiring her to quarantine at home with
Mustafa bey. (Perhaps inevitably) an argument broke out between the
couple and Fulya hanım spitefully declared "I'm positive so you will
be too!" and she spit on Mustafa bey.

Upon Mustafa bey's police complaint, he was taken to another address
for the duration of the quarantine period. The couple has a history
of violent fights, having gone to the police station five times (!) in
the past to give statements. Most recently, four months ago when
Fulya hanım returned from the grocery store she gave some ground
meat to a stray cat, prompting Mustafa bey to get violent and banish
Fulya hanım from their home. Soon after, Fulya hanım retracted her
complaint.
