Erol Bey's kinda handsome, how about a role in the show
to compensate him for his telephonic distress?
Erol D. (59) lives in Ordu but his telephone number was shown in a
scene from the TV 'dizi' (show) 'Yemin', prompting a flood of calls to
him from fans of the show in Morocco, including 'inappropriate'
photos intended for the beautiful star of the show. (!)
Consequently, Erol D. has filed suit against Karamel Yapım, the show's
production company, for 15,000 TL (about $2,000). The complaint
explains that Erol D. is being called day and night by fans of 'Cemre',
the woman in the show the Moroccans think the phone number really
belongs to.
As a result of the 'inappropriate' photos sent to him, Erol D. is
experiencing tension with his wife (!), who is wondering about the
source of the photos. Erol D.'s peaceful retirement life has been turned
upside down by the constant phone calls from people whose language
he doesn't understand.
Ordu is along Turkey's eastern Black Sea coast.
