'Lazvegas' Mimics Its Namesake

What happens in Lazvegas is pretty much the same as what
happens in Las Vegas.

The incident occurred on 24 November in Batumi, a city in the Adjara
autonomous region of Georgia, 17 kilometers from the Sarp border
crossing in Artvin province.  Levent Ulutürk (57) went to a gambling
casino in Batumi where he argued with his Uzbek girlfriend Khalida
Mahkamova (38).

Mahkamova's friend İrade Ziyadullayeva (31) tried to intervene in
the argument but Ulutürk pulled out a knife and stabbed both women.
Ziyadullayeva died at the scene and Mahkamova was seriously
wounded. 

Casino bouncers subdued UluTürk, who was taken into custody by
police.  Video images from the casino showed Ulutürk going to the
women, who were playing games on gambling machines, and
stabbing them.
