Girls! Look out! He's coming for your purses and phones!
On the night of 6 March in Bağcılar district of Istanbul, two thieves with
their heads covered cut the locks off a motorcycle and stole it.
However (!), the thieves didn't know that the motorcycle had a GPS
chip in it, so once the owner informed the police they were able to
track the thieves using the motorcycle for "purse-snatching" in the
city's Fatih and Demirkapı neighborhoods.
Soon afterwards, the thieves uncovered their heads and police determined
their identities as T.Ş. and A.Ç., taking them into custody. It turned out
that the two thieves had stolen motorcycles in three neighborhoods on
19, 24 and 25 February. These motorcycles were found in an enclosed
parking lot and returned to their rightful owners. T.Ş. and A.Ç. were
taken to jail.
