The trauma of the fatal crash, and jet lag (!), seems to have
passed. Geçmiş olsun...
On 13 March, when Gözde G., a Turk living in New York City, saw
fugitives Eylem Tok and her son Timur Cihantimur at around 5 PM
on the corner of 57th Street and 6th Avenue in New York, she snapped
photos of them but noted that the two were quite merry and relaxed,
despite realizing that they were being photographed.
Gözde G. added that "they hailed a taxi and I took a picture of the
taxi's license plate but, knowing I took the picture, they probably got
out of that taxi soon after. It was a yellow taxi. The youth was
wearing the same clothes he wore when he fled Istanbul. I didn't
speak with them. But in the hope of helping them get caught, I
shared my pictures right away."
Victim's and parents' surname is "Acı" (pain) (!)
