                             There's no vaccine for this.

Senem Onat (43) lives in Izmir and because of COVID her income
has been badly affected, forcing her to stop paying her rent for a while.
As a result, her landlord M.Ç. had told her to leave her flat but Senem
hanım countered that her contract extends to March.

Enraged that Senem hanım would not vacate the flat, M.Ç. confronted
her on the evening of 1 February and punched her, injuring the woman
on the left side of her rib cage.  Senem hanım went to the hospital,
obtained a medical report and filed a police complaint.

However (!), upon her return home, Senem hanım was again confronted
by M.Ç. but this time he had six friends with him.  The angry group
first threatened Senem hanım and then dragged her along the ground
and beat her, in front of her children.  Somehow, Senem hanım was able
to get herself to the hospital to get yet another medical report to
substantiate her injuries and a second complaint.

The police rounded up the suspects and brought them to the police
station to give statements.  The attack on Senem hanım was recorded
by her apartment house's video security system moment by moment.

Tenant meetings are never a happy event.
