Can't Stop the Rakka!
Derya Ö., a Turkish woman who joined ISIS in Germany, has
returned there. She is now charged with being an ISIS member
and receiving weapons training.
During the time that Derya Ö. was forced into prostitution in
Germany by her boyfriend, she met an ISIS member who persuaded
her to join ISIS. Derya Ö. related her experiences to the German Bild
newspaper, explaining that her boyfriend was a leader of the Hells
Angels motorcycle club and he forced her into prostitution. But
Derya Ö. met Mario S., an ISIS militant, married him and converted
to Islam. The couple then went to Syria.
Deso Dogg's reaction when he learned of Derya Ö.'s refusal.
Derya Ö. told Bild that "the first night in Syria we stayed in a
warehouse where people were being tortured." She began to wear
a 'burka' (veil) and received arms training. In 2015, Mario S. went
to Iraq, while Derya Ö. gave birth to a baby boy. The relationship
with Mario S. soured and at that time she received a marriage
proposal from rapper Deso Dogg, an ISIS member in Germany:
"I didn't accept the proposal. A friend of mine was married to a
Belgian and she suggested that I become her husband's second
wife." (!)
Derya Ö. then 'married' Abu Salahuddin, one of the leaders of
ISIS in Belgium but after Abu Salahuddin was killed in a drone
strike she returned to Mario S. Derya Ö. said that explosives were
given to her so she could become a human bomb but, filled with
regret, she decided to return to Germany. Last November, while
walking down the street in Bochum, she was arrested on the order
of the German federal prosecutor.
