The kid's alright.
In Seydikemer district of Muğla province, two kid goats that
got themselves on to some steep rocks couldn't get down.
Shepherd Ahmet Sarıman went to the area and tried for 6 days
to save the kids but in vain.
A bit of compensation for humans' all-too-common inhumanity.
With the kids hungry and thirsty, Sarıman finally called the fire
department. A team of firefighters then trekked 4 kilometers to
the rocks and spent another 3 hours rescuing the kids. Once
brought to safety, the kids drank water eagerly from the fire truck.
Seydikemer is in extreme eastern Muğla province.

Curiosity had this little one's number yesterday...
Yesterday in Aydin's Efeler district, one of a litter of newly-born
kittens got itself into trouble twice. First, the kitten got stuck
between a window and a metal grate. Hearing the meows for help,
animal-lovers rescued the kitten from its predicament.
...not once but twice!
However, a short while later the kitten fell into a stream and
firefighters had to be called. Using a net, the firefighters descended
into the stream and picked up the kitten, sparing it from death for
the second time in one day.
Seven left. Use them wisely.
Efeler district is home to the Aydın provincial capital.
