Promised Guinness Book of World Records observers no-shows.
In Sivas, 118 migrants who entered Turkey illegally were apprehended
on a bus. Traffic police stopped the bus, driven by Yaşar Kocabaş, on
the Sivas-Erzincan highway as it headed toward Istanbul and found 118
illegal migrants from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Uzbekistan and Iran on the
54-person capacity bus (!).
Migrants rose to the challenge but for naught.
Bus driver Kocabaş was taken into custody, while the illegal migrants
were processed by the police and sent to the Sivas Internal Migration
Directorate to await deportation.
