Butter luck next time...
In Konya's Meram district, Mustafa Emre (29), wearing
a surgical mask, came into a bank last evening at 1705 hours
with a blank-shooting revolver. Emre shouted "I have a bomb
on me!", referring to two sticks of margarine wrapped in
aluminum foil with a cable sticking out of his 'bomb'.
Emre pointed the gun at the midsection of the bank guard
and declared that "if you don't give me the money, I'll explode
the bomb." However, Emre was overpowered by the bank
guard and delivered to the police.
Meram district is in the southwest of Konya city.
