M.I.'s demise: conspicuously inconspicuous.
Yesterday morning in Ordu's Ünye district, citizens waiting
at a bus stop noticed a man dressed in a 'çarşaf' ( black cloak like
those worn by pious Moslem women) and talking continually
on his cellphone. This person, was also seen to be holding a
a nylon bag that was quite full, appeared to the onlookers to
have a tense attitude.
Thinking that the individual might be a suicide bomber and
recalling the recent spate of such incidents of late, citizens
alerted the police to the suspicious man. When the police came
they asked the man for his ID and had him remove the black
cloak he was wearing.
Surprised by the accusations that he was a suicide bomber,
the man denied such a suggestion. Nevertheless, he was taken
to the police station where he explained that he had put a coat
in the nylon bag to wear after he took off the cloak. As for
why he was in such a disguise, the man, M.I. (33), revealed
that he is married but was headed to meet a woman he met on
the internet.
M.I., who lives in Kumru and works at a bus firm, said that
the woman he was going to meet told him to "come in a way
that you won't be recognized. Wear a 'çarşaf'." After giving
his statement M.I. was released.

When a bomb needs a cat-alyst...
It is being claimed that the religious terrorist organization ISIS,
which has inflicted massacres on the people of Iraq and Syria,
has begun to use cats as suicide bombers. The Rudaw news agency
in northern Iraq published a report about ISIS setting loose cats
on which explosive material has been attached.
The suicide cats are they denotated remotely. Since the amount of
explosives that the cats can carry is limited, ISIS used a number of
them for the same operation. In the aftermath of U.S. and Russian
air attacks on ISIS, the terrorist organization started using this feline
suicide bombing techique as its human suicide candidate population
has decreased.
"They're making little cats into suicide bombers!"
