Waiting for the fireworks to start...again.

The Bakir family lives in Dumlupinar hamlet in Bitlis
province's Tatvan district. In one year's time fires broke
out in their home about 30 times and now the 7-member
Bakir family is having trouble finding a landlord who will
rent to them.

Tatvan district chief Murat Erkan took note of the family's
plight and said his office is providing some aid. Erkan
added that "the fires in the home continue. We're trying
to find another home for the family but since the situation
has been in the press prospective landlords are shying
away from renting to the Bakirs. That's why it's been
difficult to move them."

Mehmet Ali Bakir stated that 7 fires broke out in their
home just in the last two days and firefighters extinguished
them all. Nevertheless, the mysterious incidents have affected
the psychology of the Bakir children.  The family has lived
in the home for 40 years but no one can explain the fires that
have broken out over the past year.

Family patriarch Mehmet Ali Bakir noted that "things in the
house start burning or breaking for no reason. Quite a few
times the clothes my wife or children were wearing suddenly
began burning.  We've been living in fear in this house for a
year. I don't sleep all night.  We don't know what to do."

Continuing, Bakir added that "even if we wanted to move
no one will rent to us because of these incidents. We're hoping
for help from sensitive and caring people. Hopefully, they'll
find a solution to our distress."

The Bakir's neighbor, Nurettin Aris, stated that they can't
explain the fires either. But because of the frequent fires
in the Bakir's house they are uncomfortable neighbors.
