Saruhan's expression seems to say "I'd rather be elsewhere."
Bulls in Artvin have begun training for this year's wrestling
matches. The event will be one aspect of the 38th Kafkasör
Culture, Tourism and Arts Festival, to be held between 28
June and 1 July.
'Saruhan' will compete in the 'başaltı' (second class)
category and his owner Kamil Alpaslan and trainer Osman
Güven are getting Saruhan ready for the competition. Güven
explained that "we put 100 kilogram rocks in the back of
the sled (!) to strengthen Saruhan's neck and leg muscles.
Training a bull is like training a horse - it takes expertise
and patience."
