Fahri K. taking 'incognito' to a whole new level.
In Gümüşlük, Bodrum, Esra Dağ, who is hearing-impaired, went to
the market on Friday, 6 July. After two hours away from home, her
relatives alerted the police and Gendarmerie. Esra hanım's relatives
also asked for help from users of Facebook, where Esra's photo was
posted in hopes that someone may have seen her.
After 3 days without any word, Esra's brother-in-law Mehmet Emin
Oruç explained that "we learned that Esra had chatted on Facebook
for a month and a half with one Fahri K., a prison fugitive (!). The
Gendarmerie determined that Fahri K. has a record for 9 separate
crimes and is living in Eskişehir. Fahri K. had called his family to
say that 'I'm bringing a bride home!' Police raided the house in
Eskişehir but no one was there. Later, Fahri K. was contacted by
phone but asserted that 'If I turn myself in you'll put me in jail.
I won't give this girl to anyone!' Fahri K. then hung up the phone."

Not to be mistaken for a wedding hall.
İsmail Sabay of Bursa went to Yalova 4 days ago and kidnapped
Fatma Demirci to be his bride. In order to quell the resulting
tensions between the families, İsmail's mother Yeşim Sabay took
her other son Yılmaz and some relatives to Yalova's Bağlarbaşı
neighborhood to meet with the Demirci family.
As the two families conversed, tensions rose and Fatma hanım's
brother Yaşar (17) pulled out a gun, shooting Yeşim and Yılmaz
Sabay. The sound of the gunshots brought police and ambulances
to the scene but neither of the Sabay's could be saved.
